Dominique Tonelli, MD, joined Kite in 2017, where she currently serves as Vice President and Global Head of Medical Affairs.

Dominique has more than 30 years of experience in clinical oncology and immunology therapeutics across the fields of clinical research, drug development and medical affairs. She began her career at Rhone-Poulenc Rorer, where she contributed to the clinical development and global launch of a breakthrough cancer therapy. She then spent 10 years at Bristol-Myers Squibb, where she served as Head of Hospital Disease Areas (Oncology, Hematology, Inflammation, HIV, Hepatitis & Neurosciences). She joined Gilead Sciences in 2010 as Medical Director for France before moving into international medical affairs in 2012.

She is board-certified in oncology and obtained her doctorate from the Pierre and Marie Curie University. Dominique also received degrees in breast cancer, immunology and statistics applied to medicine from University Paris Cité and a degree in international marketing from the ESSEC Business School in Paris.
