Joe Spiegler

Joe joined Kite in 2020 and currently serves as Vice President and Head of Legal.

He brings more than 20 years of legal, compliance and international experience across the life sciences and high-tech industries. Before joining Kite, Joe was a litigation partner at the international law firm of Winston and Strawn LLP, the Chief Compliance Officer at Baxter International and the first Global Head of Compliance at Uber Technologies, Inc. At Baxter International, Joe was a member of the global leadership team and had enterprise-wide responsibility for all aspects of the compliance program, including FDA, US Healthcare Fraud & Abuse, anti-corruption (FCPA), antitrust and privacy. During his tenure at Uber, Joe scaled the compliance organization and built the foundation of compliance at the company, which operated in more than 70 countries and 600 cities globally at the time.

Joe received a bachelor’s degree from New York University and earned his law degree from the University of Notre Dame Law School.
