Michelle Roth

Michelle Roth joined Kite in 2024, where she currently serves as Vice President, Human Resources.

Michelle brings more than 20 years of strategic HR experience to Kite. Most recently, Michelle served as Vice President, Human Resources at Illumina, a developer of life science tools and integrated systems for genetic sequencing. Prior to Illumina, Michelle was the Chief Human Resources Officer at Nutcracker Therapeutics, an mRNA biotechnology company, as well as the Deputy Head of Human Resources at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL). In her role at JPL she was responsible for delivering all aspects of Human Resources including Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Diversity and Inclusion, HRBP engagement and Strategic Talent Management. Before joining JPL, she held various positions within life sciences and consulting including roles at Amgen, Thermo Fisher Scientific and Deloitte Consulting.

Michelle holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, an MBA from the University of Southern California, and a master's in Human Resources from Cornell.
